Soheyl Ghaemian / Notes on entrepreneurship
Don’t winthe wronggame.
My model. My strategy.
A perspective shaped by both sides.
I’m Soheyl Ghaemian. This is where I explore the relationship between a business, the person behind it and the decisions that connect the two.

The business
is not the
objective.
What is all of this meant to make possible?
For me, strategy starts before the growth target. It starts with a personal objective — and an honest account of the trade-offs, other people’s interests and the situation as it is.
I know the downside, too.
That is why it belongs
in every strategy.
I ask what a decision makes possible.
Then I ask what it asks of us in return.

ENDGAME
The way I connect an objective with a decision — and a decision with its consequences.
Goal.
A personal objective, separated from the milestones that might lead to it.
Position.
Capabilities, dependencies and the interests and decision rights of the people involved.
Move.
A practical route, a genuine alternative and the commitments each would create.
Outcome.
Evidence of progress, including what worked, what did not and what needs rethinking.
A working model, not a finished rulebook
Ideas worth testing.
Assumptions worth
questioning.
ENDGAME brings together personal objectives, ownership, a goal-based SWOT and an examination of the downside. I treat it as a model to test and refine, not a universal answer.
